2012 has been a good year for Durham Juniors – there have been a number of very pleasing results. Many of you have once again significantly reduced your handicaps – very well done.

Our Halloween competition was very successful. The winners were Brittany Hill and Amy Sutheran.

  

My thanks to members of the junior committee who helped on the day (I thought all of you would like a quick reminder of the two on the main desk!!)

And a big thank you to Heworth Golf Club who hosted the competition, fed everyone and made us all feel very welcome.

  • Please check the junior fixture list regularly – I will continue to update it as soon as I am made aware of any new events.
  • Can you also make yourself fully aware of the ‘Dress Code’ for Durham Golf Clubs. Failure to comply with this could mean you are not allowed to take part in a competition.

Wishing you all the very best for the rest of the season. Remember to continue to work at your game as often as you can - especially your putting over the winter months. If you can also work at exercises that will strengthen relevant muscles you will be better prepared for the 2013 season.
